With a pH value increasing from 7 to 14, water alkalinity grows, and with a pH decreasing from 7 to 0, acidity grows. Ionised alkaline water contains, in addition to hydroxyl ions, also easily absorbable ions of alkali metals (calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium), which are important for neutralisation of acid waste. Ionised acid water gives your body a mix of alkali ions needed for maintaining the balance between acids in body fluids. Acid waste in the organism is a primary cause of degenerative diseases.
